Kenta began wake surfing 8 years ago as the sport began to take off in Hiroshima Japan. For about 4 years he wasn't improving on other boards, but found Soulcraft and quickly saw his skillset grow rapidly once he jumped on the KF Pro Surf.
Since then, Kenta pursued a competitive career in wake surfing and in 2021 challenged himself to compete in the Pro Mens Surf Division as the first male pro in Asia. His participation in the World Wakesurfing Championship earned him 9th place in the world.
