I was born to be on the water, my first Havasu trip was at 8 months old. Growing up with a boat, I’ve been lucky enough to learn how to slalom ski and wakeboard. I didn’t find my true passion until I was introduced to wakesurfing in the summer of 2011. I learned to surf behind a 1997 Tige but to get my riding to the next level, we had to buy a new boat. In 2012, I convinced my parents to buy a brand new Tige Rz2. The new boat was great, but to improve my skills it was time to ditch the production board. In October of 2013, I discovered the board I was meant to ride at the Wake9 polar bear event. After demoing many boards, I fell in love with Soulcraft. I was lucky enough to meet Jeff at the event and my custom board was born. I loved my board so much, I felt like it was time to compete. In March of 2014, I competed for the first time at the Supreme Wakesurf Championships. I won first place in the amateur surf division. I hope to improve with each competition to reach my ultimate goal of qualifying for the Wakesurfing World Championships. I’m looking forward to the rest of my first season competing for team Soulcraft. I wouldn’t want to ride for anybody else!
